This month, Subaru is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation for the "Subaru Loves the Earth" initiative, the largest corporate community tree distribution program in the United States. Quantrell Subaru is lending a hand to distribute and plant 100,000 regionally appropriate trees and make neighborhoods across our country greener and healthier – and the best part is, you can be a part of our 2025 spring distribution!
Last year, Subaru and the Arbor Day Foundation announced a new partnership during Climate Week NYC. This year's event marks the first of the earth-conscious events, and the partnership is expected to last for three years. With the help of local retailers like Quantrell Subaru, the "Subaru Loves the Earth" program will plant hundreds of thousands of mature and native trees in nationwide communities. Use the link above to join our mission and reserve a tree.

The USDA Forest Service estimates that urban areas in the U.S. lose nearly 36 million trees each year to disease, age, and extreme weather. Without our intervention, this deficit could become catastrophic, threatening our communities' beauty and environmental health. However, with the help of "Subaru Loves the Earth," newly planted mature trees can create oxygen, remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, reduce air pollution, and cool urban areas by as much as 10 degrees.
Subaru was one of the first automotive brands to put sustainability at the forefront of its mission. As early as 2004, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA) became the first automotive assembly plant to recycle or reuse all waste and achieve zero-landfill status, and in 1993, Subaru received the Environmental Purification Award for its cutting-edge paint recycling program.
Fast-forward to the current day, and you'll notice Subaru reworking their packaging materials to reduce waste even further, collecting used cabin air filters and plastic film for recycling, and helping with local park and highway cleanups. Subaru is also exploring the future of electric vehicles with the launch of its Solterra EV SUV.
